My week: June 6, 2014

Some exciting things happened for me this week.

Not one, but two, of my stories were published in The Independent Florida Alligator, the largest student-run newspaper in the country:

You can find my published articles under the portfolio tab at the top of this page, or by clicking here.

My first byline!

Editing with the Alligator staff was a treat. I’m so thankful I was able to contribute to the paper this week. Here’s hoping to many more contributions throughout the rest of the summer!

Also this week, my Alpha PRoductions team began to meet with more businesses to pitch our services. We’re working on securing clients for the fall and spring semesters.

My mom and my roommate Jennifer (who just moved back home) visited Saturday and Sunday. My mom is now a die-hard fan of Chuy’s – we’re definitely related. I also drowned myself in caramel iced coffee from Peach Valley Café. Huge fan.

Some things I loved this week:

A 3-d replica of Vincent van Gogh’s ear (The Wall Street Journal)

This Washington, DC, home tour (Apartment Therapy)

Always excited about Apple news (Buzzfeed)

What did you do this week? Let me know in the comments.
